Magna Carta Moot
The Magna Carta Moot involves a “showcase” moot with an Inner Temple team competing against an English-speaking Union team. There will be a panel of judges who will provide feedback that will help to inform the audience on how to undertake a moot.

The Magna Carta Moot is an exhibition moot between the winners of the ESU Essex Street competition and the holders of the Inner Temple Lawson Cup Moot.
Originally held to celebrate the 800th Anniversary of the Magna Carta, the moot was envisaged as a “moot of moots” and provides an excellent opportunity to showcase mooting to student members.
The event is open to all members of the Inn, and will include a drinks reception following the conclusion of the moot.
